Train as a jog leader in 2021!
Tuesday 16 February 2021

Why not make 2021 the year you become a jogscotland jog leader?
We are delighted to have the Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) course now on offer via blended learning, offering the chance to become a jogscotland jog leader. The in-person segments of the courses will take place at Meadowmill in East Lothian, Aberdeen Sports Village, Grangemouth Stadium, Ravenscraig in Motherwell and Scotstoun in Glasgow.

Choose and book your course via the Athletics Hub
The course will qualify you to set up and lead your own jogscotland group once Covid restrictions allow, or to become a leader with an existing group. You’ll be covered by our insurance when you lead, your group will be added to our Group Finder to help you attract new members, and you’ll be able to call on our team for advice as you set up and grow your group.
The blended learning LiRF includes four at-home modules, followed by one three hour practical session. The latter will be carried out according to Covid restrictions at the time the course takes place. Should we be unable to proceed with the practical sessions they will be re-scheduled to a later date.
Thanks to the scottishathletics coach education team for ensuring a smooth transition to blended learning and working around the current planning challenges to make these courses available.
