scottishathletics are delighted that McGhee’s Bakery will sponsor the 2026 jogscotland Awards.
Featuring as part of the 4J scottishathletics and jogscotland Annual Awards Dinner, McGhee’s will support our four jogscotland award categories; Achiever of the Year; Jog Group of the Year; Jog Leader of the Year; and the SAMH Mental Wellbeing Award.
The 4J Awards Dinner, with the McGhee’s jogscotland Awards, will be held in Glasgow on Saturday 14 November.
Founded in 1936, McGhee’s Bakery is a family-run Scottish bakery based in Glasgow. With third and fourth generation at the helm, it continues to make many of the country’s favourite treats, from crispy morning rolls to the much-loved empire biscuit.
Now one of the UK’s best-known bakery names, McGhee’s products are enjoyed in homes, cafés and shops across the country. Celebrating their 90th anniversary in 2026, the bakery remains committed to traditional craft baking while continuing to evolve and innovate for today’s customers.
Each year, our awards give us the chance to shine the spotlight on some of the incredible people who make up the jogscotland community, from jog leaders who have gone above and beyond, to members who’ve overcome adversity to get active, or have achieved more than they ever thought they could.
scottishathletics and jogscotland CEO, Colin Hutchison, said:
‘The jogscotland Awards are one of the highlights of the calendar and we are delighted to have McGhee’s on board to support and further highlight the incredible stories and achievements from our jogscotland community.’
Aisling McGhee, Commercial Director at McGhee’s Bakery, said:
‘The jogscotland programme is doing fantastic work to introduce new people to running and help them get active in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
‘We’re proud to be supporting that work through this partnership and helping to recognise the groups and individuals who are making such a difference in communities across Scotland.”
Nominations are now open for the McGhee’s jogscotland Awards, which will return to the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
Nominations will close at 4pm on Monday 14 September.
