Introduction to Recreational Running in Secondary Schools

jogscotland has teamed up with Active Stirling to produce this guide to introducing Recreational Running into secondary schools.

This resource has been created to support the delivery of recreational running to participants predominantly in secondary schools and is aimed at teachers and volunteers. Linked to the curriculum for excellence outcomes and supported by jogscotland, the resource is easy to use, fun, progressive and enables participants to develop skills at their own pace.

Thank you to Active Stirling Athletics Development and Active Stirling Health and Fitness Instructors for contributing to resource materials and session plans included in this training resource.

Hard copies are also available and can be posted out to you – contact Jo Stevens for more information.
